Hope!

It was my first time to came to English Corner yesterday.

The amount of students in English Corner was about 60 people.

I thought it was a good chance to met new friends, for we had to discuss many issues such as "Would you die for what you believe in?"

"What is Valentines Day about?"

"What do you think is the difference between Valentines Day in 500AD compared with now(2009AD)?"

(all above was about yesterday's topic "Valentines Day")

Of course, there was a lecturer introduced the topic first.

By discussing, we shared our thoughts and felt free to speak out English.

And I also felt so encouraged that people who discussed with me knows what I'm talking about. 

(Trust me. If you come, you'll know that!!)

Yesterday, I also met some juniors in CSIE. (鏡哥,綠豆,etc..)

They were also the first time to came to this corner.

Today, as I planned before, I came to English corner again.

(all this week have Englsih Corner in 修齊 12:00~13:00)

And we talked about "American Diet".

The lecturer was a so-call ABC with fluently English's speaking, named Oliver.

And we discussed topics such as

"Why is Denny's breakfast called a 'Grand Slam'"?

"Why is the lunch sandwich so simple and boring?!"

"How does the American breakfast compare to the Taiwanses breakfast"?

Also an interesting day!

By discussing, I had four new firends during these two days.

And ONLY me is the senoir student..actually, I haven't met other seniors till now.

That's all!

And I also prepared to submit a piece of writing for publication so that I could get more points.

(From now on, I've got 2 points for English corner.)
